Matt has a passion for building. He started woodworking at an early age learning from his dad in his home project shop and helping his dad repair and build houses. His first job was in a professional millwork shop assisting in building a variety of architectural millwork. As Matt grew, he began working for a drafting company, designing, and drawing plans for houses and civil engineers. In 2012 his main focus changed, taking a break from the building industry to pursue his passion for helping and protecting people. He worked in the private security industry, building client relationships and training programs, serving clients and communities throughout the United States. After Matt's dad passed away in April of 2018, he had a hard time working on any projects in the shop that he helped build. About a year later, he walked into the garage and started working on projects again, rediscovering his passion for building and decided to put it to work to make a difference. In the summer of 2021, he re-entered the construction industry specializing in finish carpentry and working his way to a Superintendent then Project Manager before deciding to make the leap and going all in with Transformational Creations.
